Madrid, 2025 – With a career defined by innovation, resilience, and a deep commitment to culture, Michaels Mads continues to establish himself as a relevant figure in the European fashion and music industries. Founder and Editor-in-Chief of MADSHION, the digital magazine that revolutionized Spain’s editorial scene since its creation in 2014, Michaels became the youngest Editor-in-Chief in Europe, leading a project that, within just three years, reached a milestone of 650,000 readers in 2017.

His early years were marked by a growing presence in the fashion world, with over a decade covering the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, a key event on the European fashion calendar. In 2023, Michaels was invited as accredited press to the fashion weeks of Milan, Paris, and New York, covering exclusive shows by renowned designers such as Philipp Plein and Enfants Riches Déprimés, further cementing his position in the global fashion scene.

Michaels has also forged strategic partnerships with leading brands such as H&M Studio (H&M’s haute couture line), Cheap Monday, Aristocrazy, and the prestigious Louis Vuitton Moët-Hennessy group, contributing his creative vision to collaborations with global reach.

Following his impact in fashion, Michaels expanded into music journalism and live event coverage, becoming a key figure in the European festival circuit. He has covered major international events such as Eurovision 2023 and 2024, Rock in Rio Lisboa (2018, 2022, and 2024), Lollapalooza 2023, Mad Cool Festival (2018 and 2023), as well as iconic national events such as Los 40 Music Awards and Coca-Cola Music Experience.

As a live music photographer, Michaels has captured international superstars such as Dua Lipa, Troye Sivan, Doja Cat, Camila Cabello, Rita Ora, and Melanie Martínez, alongside top Spanish acts like Bad Gyal, Aitana, and Lola Índigo. His portfolio also includes artists from Argentina’s vibrant urban scene, including Duki’s historic concert at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, and performances by Emilia, Milo J, and Nicki Nicole.

In addition to his editorial work, Michaels leads MADSHION’s podcast, “Music Madness”, where he pioneered the first itinerant podcast format in Madrid. Designed for flexibility and speed, the setup allows the team to build a fully operational mobile recording studio in under 10 minutes. This innovation has set a new standard for artist interviews in the city, merging agility with high production value.

Beyond photography and media production, Michaels currently guides MADSHION as a transformative platform, serving as a training ground for young students eager to break into the music industry. The project offers immersive, hands-on learning experiences in festivals, concerts, and cultural events, fostering the next generation of creative professionals.

On a personal note, Michaels is a passionate advocate for fibromyalgia awareness, openly sharing his journey with the condition on social media and contributing to the conversation around chronic illnesses in the creative industries.

Today, Michaels Mads stands as a representative of a new generation of creative leaders who combine professional excellence with social purpose, building a legacy that transcends industries.
